Capitolo Riviera Hotel

Capitolo Riviera Hotel

The project by Parisotto+Formenton Architetti has been conceived to highlight the most peculiar features of the existing building: a 1970s brutalist architecture with exposed concrete structures and an interesting external cladding in local pinkish stone. The former building has been fully restored and the new extension marks a contrast with its contemporary architecture characterized by wide glazing and wooden sunscreens.

The whole concept aims to enhance the park around the resort, with some existing big trees that have been preserved and new greenery that create a green oasis closed to the sea, where the architecture is in a well-balanced relationship with nature. All rooms feature external terraces with a view to let guests enjoy the mild climate of the region all year round. The general atmosphere is embracing and welcoming, celebrating the slow living lifestyle of the riviera.
